TYRSA - Typography and illustration portfolio

When in 1999, Alexis Taieb, also known as TYRSA discovered graffiti, he knew he had found his calling. His natural love for letters and the art of typography led him to Gobelins, from which he graduated in 2007, and a career as a freelancer with a focus on print and web design. With a portfolio of work for Parisian agencies like BETC Euro RSCG, Publicis, DDB and Sid Lee under his belt, the versatile French artist has branched out into full-fledged creative work for the likes of Carhartt, Ofive TV and fashion label Bleu de Paname, for which he designed the “Ici C’est Paname” T-shirt. Despite the range of his work however, the tie that binds all of his visuals remains as consistent and strong as his striking aesthetic — the simple goal of reinventing the letter without losing any of its meaning or beauty.
